Privacy policy

Play Again Projects respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect for Build A Dance Studio, a Play Again Projects game, through our public contact and feedback form, support channels, and connected social accounts, and how we handle it.

Information we collect

Public forms. Depending on what you choose to share, we may collect your name, email address, optional Roblox username, Instagram or TikTok handle, dance studio name, a link to externally hosted dance content, and the subject and description of your enquiry, bug report, feature request, business enquiry, or dance idea. The reusable dancer permission form collects the dancer's legal and chosen display names, optional Roblox username, age group, dance style, the adult signer's legal name, email and relationship to the dancer, the permission choices, electronic signature, signature date and form version. The invitation-only teacher permission form collects the teacher's legal and chosen display names, optional Roblox username, email, permission choices, electronic signature, signature date and form version; it records only a one-way hash and short prefix of the one-time access code. Private contractor briefs collect the files and optional update comments submitted through a prepared deliverable; they do not ask the contractor for a name or email address, and their access code is stored only as a one-way hash.

Support and social interactions. When you email us, message one of our social accounts, or comment on our posts, the relevant provider may give us your name or username, account identifier, message or comment, related conversation context, timestamps, delivery events, and any content you choose to send through that provider. We also keep replies prepared or approved by our team.

Technical information. Our hosting and security providers may temporarily process information such as your IP address, browser type, request time, and network or security signals to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and investigate faults.

Screenshot uploads for account migration

The account migration form accepts screenshot uploads. If you choose to upload screenshots to support an account migration request, we store those image files with your request and use them only to review and complete it. Only upload screenshots of your own account, and crop out anything you don't need to share.

No other photo or video file uploads

Apart from account migration screenshots, the public forms have no capability to upload or store photo or video files. For a dance submission, you may provide a viewing link to content hosted by Facebook, Instagram, Google Drive, or another service. We store the link as text and may use it to view the content, but do not copy the linked file into our intake storage. The third-party host controls its own collection, access, retention, and sharing settings under its privacy terms.

How we use information

We use information to review and respond to enquiries, triage bugs and ideas, moderate our own social channels, prevent spam or duplicate processing, protect the service, maintain necessary operational records, and improve the game and its support. We do not sell personal information or use public-form submissions for targeted advertising.

Children and young people

Build A Dance Studio, a Play Again Projects game, may be used by children and young people, so we minimise what the public form can collect. Only share a watch link if you have permission from the people shown and the right to share the content with us. Do not include a child's full name, home address, school, precise location, or other identifying or sensitive details. If you are under 15, ask a parent, guardian, or authorised dance studio representative to submit any contact details or watch link for you.

Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised team members and service providers that help us operate the service. Depending on how you contact us, these may include Cloudflare, DigitalOcean and other hosting or security providers, our email provider, Meta, TikTok, and authorised AI-processing services used to assist with support drafting or classification. We disclose only what is reasonably needed for those services or where required by law.

Where information is processed

Our primary application storage is hosted in Australia. Some providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries where they or their subprocessors operate. Privacy protections in those countries may differ from those in Australia.

Retention and security

We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards to protect information. We keep records only for as long as reasonably needed for support, moderation, security, product feedback, legal, or operational purposes, then delete or de-identify them where practical. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Access, correction, and deletion

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. See the data-deletion instructions or email privacy@runadancestudio.com with the subject Privacy request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law or legitimate security needs require it.

Privacy questions and complaints

Contact privacy@runadancestudio.com with questions or complaints. We will review your concern and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We may update this policy when the integration or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
